After a heart scare a couple of years ago I thought it about time I got my lardy frame back into shape and started running. At the time it was only intended as a gentle way of halting the growth of the beer belly I'd inherited since leaving Uni and stopping training, particularly due to my fondness for curry and Greggs sausage rolls......but then I ended up entering a local 10k race encouraged by my father-in-law and actually quite enjoyed it !

Now a friend of my wife has invited me to join a team and take the next step, running the Great South Run in aid of the charity Pancreatic Cancer UK....so while supporting me in my bust a gut quest I'd also like your support in raising funds for this important cause.......who knows what challenge I'll go for next.....
