Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Between the 10th and 12th of June I'm going to be cycling between from Chiswick via Alexandra Palace in London in Castle Donington in Derbyshire, joining a cast of musicians, industry types, metal fans and mates to raise money for Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust, and NSPCC's Childline.
Those that know me will recognise that I'm fond of swinging a leg over a bike for a good cause and assaulting any hill that comes my way. But there are not many causes more important than the welfare of our children. So that's this year's challenge
It's also a special run for many reasons. I'll be riding with my cycling club, HMCC, I'll be arriving at the southern end of my teenage cycling ground for the first time in 40 years and I'll be at the Download Festival on my 57th birthday.
I'll also be donating my birthday present equivalent in cash and I think the causes are worth a few of your herd-earned pounds too.
So please give anything you can afford and I'll do the blood, sweat, tears and potential road rash thing in exchange. I even promise to record the journey using a clever wireless telephone and mount the pictures on the interweb
