Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every year we have been at St George's we have always been inspired to help raise money for the  ABF Soldiers' Charity, they do such amazing work for all the soldies who have fought for you and me. We enjoy the run and it is fun

They give a lifetime of support to soldiers and former soldiers from the British Army, and their immediate families, when they are in need. They make grants to individuals through their Regiments and Corps and support a wide range of specialist charities that sustain the British Army ‘family’, both at home and around the world.

They take pride in being responsive, making a difference at a critical point in peoples’ lives. They have been doing this since 1944, working with veterans of every conflict, and they envisage continuing doing so for the ‘long haul’ – supporting all future generations of our soldiers and their dependents.

What happens to the money

  • 38% Grants to individuals and charities
  • 30% For soldiers - For life safeguarding our future
  • 17%  The cost of raising funds
  • 15 % other supports and traiding activities
