Story
Hi everyone,
It is our plan, God willing, to leave for Romania in mid April. We aim to raise money for the Romanian orphanages by walking across the mountain range south of Brosov, for 5-8 hours a day for 5 days, hopefully not attracting any bad company such as wild bears and wolves that roam free.
Week 2 will consist of visiting an orphanage that one of our Brothers works at. By spending time with the children, we hope to gain an understanding of what a child's normal day is in an orphanage. With making contact at this orphanage we hope this may open a gate to visit several more in the area and lending our support where needed.
Thank you for taking the time to read this short yet simple description of what our aim is. For those of you who know us personally and would like to help, it would also be nice if a few comfort parcels were put together consisting of basic toiletries, washing powder and tea and coffee that we could take over with us as we are driving. Also needed are blankets and small items of clothing.
All parcels should be posted to 220 Rochfords Gardens, Slough, Berkshire, SL25XL. And to arrive no later than 10th April.
