Event: Bupa Great Manchester Run 2014, on 18 May 2014
In memory of Catherine Steele

Story

I am running the Great Manchester 10k Run 18th May in memory of my Auntie Cath Steele who was a much loved Auntie, Wife, Mother, Sister,  Friend and Teacher. She  was also a devoted Grandmother who loved nothing more than writing stories for her  Grandchildren to read.

When Cath died of cancer in April 2013 she left a series of  books about “Pop”, which are based on the antics of her husband Martin. These  books have given much joy to her own Grandchildren and now my family would like  to share these stories with the world and raise money for a charity close to Cath while  doing so.

The children at the school where Auntie Cath worked will be providing additional illustrations for the book.

My family and friends will be also raising money throughout 2014 to pay for publishing  these books.

“ A collection of Stories by Kate Steele”. All proceeds from sales and all remaining funds, will  benefit terminally ill children and their families, through

In order to raise the funds required our Family and friends will be taking part in numerous events over the Globe in 2014 including UK, France, Madagascar, USA and New Zealand. Please visit our Team page to read about all the events:
