We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

My girlfriend Jess' Nana died two years ago after she had suffered with severe dementia. However, the illness meant she had lost the person she she was so close to long before that. Dementia is a heartbreaking disease which does the unthinkable,  turning your closest loved ones into strangers and stealing your treasured memories. It affects so many people, and and tears families apart

The Alzheimer's Society do a great job of fundraising  to perform new research into cures for dementia whilst providing support for sufferers and families in need. Jess's Grandad is now starting his dementia journey and he has benefited massively from the singing classes and memory cafes set up by the charity

On the 5th of June I will be cycling from Whitby to Derby, stopping off at all SIV venues, with a determined group of fellow cyclists. That's  a total 190 miles in just one day. This will be a physically and mentally challenging test- But not as challenging as the difficulty dementia sufferers and their families face on a daily basis. I hope you can support me in this journey by donating what you can to this excellent cause. Together we can help to fight dementia. Thank you.
