Story
Hey, thanks for taking the time to visit my page. On July 20th 2013, I completed an 8-day trek of the Bernese Oberland mountains in Switzerland, in order to raise money for the amazing charity Make-A-Wish.
Incase you're not sure what they do, they're an incredible charity that literally make the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses come true.
The climb was long and tough and involved working our way up and down several peaks. On average we climbed 1,400 metres a day (a little higher than Ben Nevis) and in total around 5-6000 metres.
This trip was entirely self-funded - every penny you give goes DIRECTLY to the charity. Life is so short for these children - let's all help to bring light and happiness to the few precious days they have.
Every penny counts - even if you only have £3 to spare, the price of a cup of coffee, you WILL be making a difference to the life of a child.
Thank you - enjoy life - it's the most precious thing you have :)
