Story
So this is my challenge...on 15th May I am heading to Namibia to join a team of twelve for a 3 week expedition along the Skeleton Coast. We are covering 400km (on average 8 hours walking per day) over rugged terrain. What makes this particularly tough is that we are all having to carry 35kg of kit, since we are totally unsupported. Also, there is no fresh water, so we have to pump 700 litres of seawater to desalinate enough drinking water for the team and this takes 5 hours each night.
This groundbreaking expedition has never before been completed unsupported!
Please help me to raise money for Combat Stress, an extremely worthwhile charity which provides specialist mental health provision for military personnel who have witnessed traumatic events whilst serving their country.
Thanks so much for your support, and to all those who have helped me with my preparations for this adventure!
