My sister Jennie was diagnosed with Leukaemia in February 2008 at the age of 27. She underwent 2 years and 2 months of chemotherapy and has been in remission for 2 years. The Annette Fox Leukaemia Research Fund helped to refurbish Ward 7 at BRI (where Jennie was treated) to provide individual rooms for patients and update the Day Case Unit. They also fund an amazing aromatherapist who provides complementary therapy treatment for the patients. My sister has benefited first hand from what this charity does so they really do make a huge difference.
