We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to stop women dying from breast cancer.

Story

I'm Jeremy Jacobs and welcome to my fundraising page.

My sister Jackie and I, spent our childhood growing up in the seaside resort of Margate, before the lure of the bright lights of London sent us packing. For Jackie, that was in 1967 and me, sometime in the 1970's.

After marriage to David and three children later, Jackie contracted breast cancer in 1986 and finally lost her battle on August 14th, 1988. I raised some money for the hospice at Mount Vernon Hospital, where Jackie spent her last few months, by running and completing the 1991 London Marathon.

In February, 2007, I shall be trekking around 125 miles over 8 days in the Foothills of the Maasai on behalf of Breast Cancer Campaign who fund research into the cure. You can follow my build-up to the trek at
