Jail and Bail

I am trying to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice for the 22 of March 2013. I will be getting locked up at Wealdstone police station for 30 minutes in aid for charity. The reason why I have chosen St Luke’s Hospice is because they support people whose illnesses are no longer curable, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life during the final stages of their illness. What your money can help do.

They care for patients through our in-patient unit, out-patient clinics, and day care unit, as well as in their own homes through our community and home care teams. Coming to terms with a serious illness can be difficult and distressing. Everyone in the family, including friends can be affected, so the hospice and the staff and volunteers provide a warm, friendly and supportive environment in which everyone feels welcome.

·         £1000 could pay for 33 bereavement support sessions with trained volunteers, helping local families to cope with loss.

·         £1000 could pay the hospice’s medicine bill for an entire week.

·         £1000 could provide healthy nutritious meals for the hospice’s patients for a whole fortnight.

·         £1000 could fund 16 home visits from the hospice’s specialist nurses for local people with terminal illnesses.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you
