I am aiming to climb Everest this year and would like to use the event to raise funds for the local community through Community Action Nepal.

Have worked with them previously and they do increadible work in the local community by establishing school, hospitals and shelters for the Sherpa people.

I have chosen a specific project which is the establishment of a Porter centre at Gokyo Lakes in the Everest region which will provide medical services, weather shelter and a community center for porters who are often shamefully neglected by tour operators.
