Personal message:

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor my cause online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Ann's Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

St Ann’s Hospice needs to raise £16,000 every day through voluntary contributions to offer its wide range of services. In total it costs
£8.75 million each year to run the Hospice, of which only 35% is received from government funding. It is the support of the local community that enables St Ann’s Hospice to continue providing the highest standards of care to patients, families and carers.

The site is in memory of Janet Walker who died in September 2006 after a long battle with aggressive breast Cancer. Janet battled her illness bravely for 7 years, knowing in the final 3 years the prognosis was terminal. Despite this she continued to live life to the full, working as a nurse at Stepping Hill as long as possible, a wife; mother to her young son Dominic, and somehow finding time to complete her Nursing Degree. In Janet's final days her family was grateful for the care and support of St Ann's hospice and would now like to help give something back.

Please support Donald with whatever amount you can his blog can be seen daily on www.donking.blog.co.uk   Donald is cycling to all Inter Link Foods bakeries in the UK in August 2007.

Many thanks for your support.

Sam & Dominic
