10 Million Metres · 4 May 2014

We’re here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

Story

My challenge is simple: to race 10 million metres to raise as much money as possible to find a cure for Parkinson's Disease.

Inspired by Alex Flynn (who has been diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease) and his run/bike/swim across the U.S., I decided to take on this 10 Million Metre Challenge. My aim is to cover the 10 million metres (6,172.8 miles) through various races and events to give me a cumulative total. Runs, swims, triathlons, rides, pretty much anything that can get me to the goal.
