Story
Usually, fitness for me means kicking people. But in March it will be about running up a tall building for charity.
On 3rd March 2011, I am participating in Vertical Rush - it's a race to the top of Tower 42 in the City of London - up the stairs - all 183 metres of them! I'm doing it in order to do something difficult and to raise funds for Shelter.
I'd like your help here.
I will do the exhausting bit of running up 920 steps for you - you don't even need to leave your chair - how's that for service? But I would like to meet a fundraising target of £150. That's about 16p per step. Can you donate something towards this? £1? £5? £20? Any amount is very much appreciated.
Shelter is a charity that works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing. Shelter provides services and offer information to people facing housing problems, day or night. Please give generously - they're a great cause
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks!
James
