Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

We did it! Bagged three peaks in 24 h! We didn't quite make it down from "The Ben" within 24 h, due to traffic problems en-route, but managed Snowdon in 3 h 20 mins, Scafell Pike in 3 h 30 mins, and Ben Nevis 6 h (we were feeling the accumulated dampness, lack of sleep, and exhaustion by then).  The British summer ensured vile weather throughout, especially on Snowdon, where 75 mph winds and constant rain saturated us all to the core. Thanks to the whole team, including the voluanteer drivers and organiser Chris Tarratt or EventAid!

The expedition is raising funds for Age Concern Oxfordshire. They do a range of valuable work with and for older people and rely on donations and fundraising for vital services. For more details see http://www.ageconcernoxon.org.uk/.
