As some of you may know my family was hit with some devastating news on 18th April 2012. We found out that my dad Tony Mills had a brain tumour, and a month later was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiform grade 4. They gave my dad an average of 18 months to 2 years with a 10% chance of a 5 year survival. He is still fighting strong to this day and I wish I had the determination that he has. It only feels right I put myself through a little bit of pain running this marathon, as I know at the end of it all i can say that I did it for my dad. Most of us have been affected by cancer one way or another, whether it friends or family we all know someone so let's help beat cancer together. From £1 to the price of a beer/wine anything will help towards the fight against cancer.
