Treading on hot coals!! · 28 October 2009

iSightCornwall is Cornwall’s local, independent sight loss charity. Our team is ready to help everyone with sight loss, whether recent or longstanding, sudden or gradual. We’ll help you to understand your eye condition and provide you with practical support to continue doing the things you love.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year Bobby who is 86 and registered blind walked over hot coals to raise money to help blind and visually impaired people living in Cornwall to live more independant lives - well if Bobby can do it then so can we!!

Not only do we work for Cornwall Blind Association we also spend a lot of our spare time raising money and awareness for the fantastic work that we do.  We really are passionate about what we do and some would probably say mad!! And it doesn't get much madder than firewalking.

Your donation really will make a huge difference. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

The firewalk takes place at Bodmin Jail on Friday 19th March 2010 at 8.30pm.  For more details contact Jackie or Kerry at the Sight Centre on 01872 261110.
