Hello there!
I'm Jack, I'm 19 and I'm a little crazy. My friend Marcus and I decided to ride down the country on our road bikes in less than 2 weeks...That's a little over 1000 miles on the route that we're going.
We'll be staying in youth hostels all the way down, navigating the route ourselves. For the first week we'll have some support from a vehicle carrying spare parts and supplies. For the second week we go it alone, pack out our backpacks with all our spares, tools and supplies and hope our legs don't give way.
On the way we'll ride through the highlands of Scotland, ride the length of Loch Ness, stop and see Fort William, nip down over the border and down the midlands by the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, straddle the border of wales, swing around the corner by Bristol and pace it through somerset, devon and cornwall before finally finishing at Land's End.
It's the first time Marcus and I have ever done anything like this, and we know we're in for one mighty challenge. Please give us the inspiration to complete it!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Grove House gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
If you can spare it, please donate to the worthy cause that is Grove House Hospice.
Thank you.
Jack
