My nephew Kian has type 1 diabetes and is attached to an insulin pump 24/7 and has cannula changes every 3 days and will do for the rest of his life.

Everyday he battles with low and high blood sugar levels which makes him feel un-well and can be very dangerous. I personally had no idea how awful the effects of Diabetes were, until Kian was diagnosed.
