Story
Yo.
In the ten years of my life after leaving school I exercised probably less than once a year, so running 10k is actually kind of a big deal for me.
Throughout that time I also had the privilege of knowing Sean Connor, who was one of the friendliest, most welcoming and funniest people I've met, and built a pretty amazing family.
I'm running to support Kirkwood Hospice, who cared for him before he passed away last year. They do incredibly good work for patients and families and helping them out is helping out the many, many more people who they will be there for.
I will be running as part of the University of Manchester 'Purple Wave' who are also raising money for Equity and Merit Scholars:
https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Sport-Manchester-EandM
and The Big Change (Manchester Ending Homelessness):

so please go there and donate as well / instead if you prefer!
Thanks
Ian
