We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

On 27 June 2010 I will be taking part in the Ironman France event.  This consists of a 3.8 km sea swim, followed by a 180 km bike ride, and finished off by a marathon!  I will be spending the next few months following a rigorous training programme in order to prepare myself both mentally and physically for this. This year, my goal is to beat my time from last year of 12 hours and 5 minutes whilst at the same time raising money for a very worthwhile charity, ABF The Soldiers' Charity.  I would very much appreciate any sponsorship that you can offer me.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me
: The Army Benevolent Fund gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now.  Many thanks in advance.  Emma
