Story
Thankyou for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
In June I am riding 1,000 miles from Land’s Ends to John O’Groats for the Teenage Cancer Trust. I am being joined by a group of close friends who are undertaking this 1,000 mile challenge to raise funds for the charity that supported Charlotte during her illness.
Charlotte Loader sadly passed away at the age of 23 years old in February 2012. Charlotte was a much loved daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend to many. We are inspired to do this challenge as a mark of respect for beautiful young women who fought her illness with remarkable dignity and strength. Charlotte was supported by the Teenage Cancer Trust and we are hoping to jointly raise over £10,000 so that the charity can continue to support young people.
The Charity helps youngsters, aged between 13 and 24 years, who are diagnosed with cancer. Their aim is to offer young people at this sensitive and unique age, the best care and support available, whilst also allowing them to be comfortable in surroundings appropriate to their age, and most importantly, to still be teenagers. The TCT’s objective is to be able to offer this support to all youngsters throughout the UK, wherever they live.
