Ryde Inshore Rescue provides an independent Inshore Life Boat service to HM Coastguard. On call 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Their voluntary crews provide the primary inshore safety for the SE Solent from Osbourne Bay to St Helens including Ryde Sands.

Story

For many years Ryde Inshore Rescue has been raising money for a much needed extension to ensure the continuation of their service.  They are now at the half way stage but are appealing to the public to help them raise the rest of the money.  Even £1 will make a difference to this independent lifeboat station, who are currently making do with a very squashed building that leaks every time it rains!

So please if you have a spare pound to spare, donate on here and watch your money turn into a pitched roof and more space for the crew
