Hello All,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. As you may be aware, Oli very sadly passed away in July 2019 and we have created a  page in memory of him. Any donations given will be going directly to All Hands and Hearts Volunteers, with whom Oli volunteered with in the Philippines. 

He joined the project in the Philippines in 2014 and spent many months working alongside other volunteers and local tradesmen to help rebuild a community which was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan. He quickly took a liking to the deconstruction work, demonstrating his skills with the sledgehammer and putting the rest of us to shame! He always showed great respect and affection for anyone he worked with and was always up for a game of 'would you rather' or playing with the local kids.

He quickly became a team leader on the deconstruction and rubble sites and was extremely fun to work with, making the long days go a lot quicker, lifting everyone's energy with a steady supply of Sparkle and Sky Flakes! On base he was always up for a laugh and a Red Horse and was a genuine, funny, kind and loving member of the All Hands family, bringing a smile to a lot of faces.

Having originally studied Music at University, Oli decided to go back and study International Development as a Masters. Joining AHAH was a real turning point for him and after he completed his Masters he went on to achieve a job in International Development and began his career. 

Those of you who were lucky enough to meet Oli know what a nice guy he was, who never took himself too seriously and was happiest with a sledge in his hand and a choco mucho after work. Those of you who didn't meet him will still understand the project life and that the friends and memories you make there stay with you for life.
