Story

When I heard about Elisabeth Sladen's death, I was devestated. A Doctor Who fan since its rebirth in 2005, as I learnt more about the show, I fell in love with her character, Sarah Jane, as many had before, and many were still to. My friend Karen and I both wanted to do something, and decided a fundraiser in Lis' name, benefitting the fight against the thing that took her too soon, would be a lovely idea.

So please, dig deep and donate to the memory of this bright, brilliant and lovely woman.

Thanks,

Gemma and Karen

Edit 1: Thank you so much to all the people who've donated so far; you've helped to break our initial target in less than 2 hours. We cannot thank you enough. K & G x

Edit 2 (20/04/11 22.09). Wow. We're actually in awe. Kaz just emailed me going "I feel like crying". You guys are amazing. Thank you so much for all of your donations. £1000 in less than 12 hours is amazing. Kaz and I said we'd be happy if it made £150, so what you guys have done is amazing, thank you. We've decided to set a new target of £2000, we have no idea if we'll get there, but we'd loved to. Thank you again, love K & G xx
