World Youth & Global Xchange

I am on the World Youth & Global Xchange programme which is a six-month exchange programme that gives young people from different countries a unique opportunity to work together, to develop and share valuable skills and to make a practical contribution where it is needed in local communities. World Youth & Global Xchange is a partnership between VSO, The British Council and CSV with corporate support from the BAA Communities Trust.

The purpose of World Youth & Global Xchange is to bring together young people from different cultures and backgrounds to make a practical contribution to local communities. The shared knowledge and skills gained will promote active participation in civil society in each of the countries involved.

I will be in Malang, Indonesia for the first three months and then off to sunny Glasgow for my UK leg. The theme of the six months is disability.
