Inca Ride - Bruce Organisation · 8 August 2008
Ed Lines, Phil Sutton and Nick Warner set off for South America in January. We will be attempting to ride from Ecuador to Bolivia - around 2,000 miles - over the course of six months. Click here to go to our website for updates and further details.
None of us speaks Spanish, none has even been to South America, two can't ride, and two have undergone serious operations in the last six months. The odds are not in our favour!
The trip itself will be entirely self-funded, and we are hoping to raise £30,000 both for Alzheimer's Society, and for Bruce Organisation. On this page we hope you will donate in aid of Bruce Organisation - a South American charity whose works in in education and poverty reduction and extremely highly regarded in our trek nations - Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. Our aim is to arrive in La Paz, Bolivia, in time to see the fruits of our fundraising taking shape in the form of a completed school project.
As Bruce Organisation is not a UK registered charity, donations will be made through Action for Street Kids (ASK) who are heavily involved with Bruce's work.
We thank you for taking the time to visit this page, and we hope you will consider sponsoring us either here, in aid of Bruce Organisation, or here in aid of Alzheimer's Society.
With many thanks,
Ed, Phil & Nick
PS - If you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
