Story
What is FREDDIE FOR A DAY?
Freddie For A Day was the brainchild of Liz Swanton, web editor of the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the AIDS charity set up in Freddie's name in 1992. In real life she's a City of London Banker and she raised over £1,200 by spending a working day dressed as Freddie. It was such a wonderfully whacky idea that we decided to make it an annual event coinciding with Freddie’s birthday (5 September). It’s fun, it’s slightly crazy AND it raises money for the charity which is spent fighting HIV/AIDS worldwide. More info?
I'm ready to be Freddie! On September 5th, 2015, I will dress up as Freddie Mercury, like on the photo on the left. I have the shirt, the belt and the shoes. Just take a look at the photos! :) Like the idea? Go ahead! It's fun and for a good cause.
Perk for you! For any donation of £ 3.00 or higher I'll make you a bracelet like you can see in the photo gallery (the yellow, red and blue one) in the colors yellow, red and white (or any colors of your choice). Just contact me after you have donated with your information. Thank you so much!
