Story

Jonathan Mummery was born with Cystic Fibrosis, but he never let his condition hold him back. In his younger years, he was considered way ahead of his time as a graffiti writer and had a big influence on the Brighton and even the UK scene in the 1990s.

He went on to have a successful career in the video games industry, helping to create games such as, Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark Zero, Kinect Sports, Syndicate and Brothers, to name a few. Four of the games Jon worked on went on to achieve BAFTA Awards.

Jon was always adventurous. Playing in the u12 school football team as a youngster and also conquering a black ski run on his snowboard. He travelled to Switzerland, Los Angeles, Greece and Amsterdam and even lived and worked in Sweden for a year.

As well as this, Jon was a loving son, brother, father, husband and friend. He was amazing, brave, strong, inspiring, determined and gentle all at the same time. He always thought of others and shall be remembered by his loved ones forever more.
