Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am planning on cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats at the beginning of May 2010. It's 1000ish miles and should take me about 14 days, although those people who know me well will realise that due to my completely hopeless sense of direction this mileage could easily be doubled. Luckily I have several friends with GPS and quick access to Google Maps in case I get lost. I'll also be carrying a compass strapped to my handlebars pointing North.

I would greatly appreciate it if you are able to provide me with lots of incentive in the form of cold hard cash for my charity, Cancer Research UK. It is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4500 scientists, doctors and nurses. It is almost entirely funded by donations from the public. Please take a look at their website:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
