We support people across Scotland to have better mental health and wellbeing.
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Tony Henderson (currently aged 13) has chosen the Scottish Association for Mental Health as the third charity that Ian, Cat and he will be raising money for when they cycle 51 miles between Glasgow and Edinburgh on the 12th of September 2010.
Why are we supporting SAMH?
One in four people in the UK will experience poor mental health in their lifetime. In addition to this, the person suffering from poor mental health can also suffer from the stigma associated with being mentally ill. The Scottish Association for Mental Health is an organisation that works to support people who experience mental health problems,
homelessness, addictions and other forms of social exclusion. They
provide direct services, including accommodation, support, employment
and rehabilitation, and actively campaign to influence policy and
improve care services in Scotland.

Thanks,
Ian, Cat and Tony
