Story
Thank you for visiting our page...
Ian Oliver and Terry Saliba have finally plucked up the courage...
We will be taking part in a tandem skydive (strapped to an instructor not each other!!) in order to raise money for MedEquip4Kids.
We have been saying for ages that we would be willing to do a skydive (usually after a few beers!) and now we have signed up to do it gulp...!!
The skydive will be taking place on the weekend of the 9th and 10th October, we will be jumping or getting pushed from 14,000ft above Cark Airfield. Then freefalling at approximately 130mph to then hopefully a safe landing.
Who will benefit from the sponsorship raised?...
MedEquip4Kids is the charity that helps sick and injured children in and out of hospital. The Charity works in partnership with hospitals to improve the care available to children when they suffer illness or have been involved in accidents, by providing paediatric specific medical equipment and funding for projects that enhance the hospital environment for the benefit of children and their families. In many cases this reduces the time spent by children in hospital. MedEquip4Kids also supports community health projects that enable children whenever possible to be treated at home. This helps to reduce stress for children and their families that can surround a stay in hospital.
How can you help us?...
All the money raised will go towards purchasing specialist lifesaving and life enhancing equipment for babies and children in hospital. We will be ensuring babies and children have the best start in their lives.
