Last year, I ran in my first Great South Run and managed to do it in 1hr 42mins and 35sec. This was just short of my target. Training started well, but a number of injuries and the VERY windy seafront didn't help me at all. This year, I will make sure I train along the seafront so that it deosn't beat me!
