The 2013 Edinburgh Marathon will be the third time I've run a marathon and I think it is time for me to give something back. I'm running this year to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK, a charity very close to my heart, who do wonderful work to support men with prostate cancer and to provide information and fund research into prostate cancer. 

I'm running this marathon in memory of my grandad, Stanley Matthews. Hopefully he'll be looking down on me next month with a wry smile.
