Story

Thankyou for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

We are a collective of rowing coaches working for British Rowing as part of the Henley Stewards Charitable Trust Scholarship Scheme. Having met a year ago, we have become good friends and said we would race together at some point. Why not make it a 50km trip into rowing hell?

Eight months ago, one of our crew members had a second round of heart surgery that alleviated him from what was a potentially fatal heart condition. In recognition of this, we have chosen to fundraise for The British Heart Foundation, showing our support for such an important charity.

We also hope to raise awareness for the HSCT Scholarship which tries to introduce new coaches to the circuit as part of its goal to develop junior rowing at the grass roots level. We have had an incredible time so far working for British Rowing and wish to encourage others to get involved themselves!

The HSCT Mixed IM2.4+ consists of:
Sarah Cunnold - Cox
Catherine Maude - Bow Seat
Rachael Crockford - 2 Seat
James Searle - 3 Seat
Aaron Sims - Stroke Seat
Beth Yates - Coach
