Story

Hi Guys

I am doing a 10K race on 25th May for Diabetes UK with my sister Nicki, whos fundraising page is: www.justgiving.com/nickidelanougerede1 incase u want to be  extra generous and sponsor us both :-)

As you will all know I was diagnosed nearly 9years ago at 16 years old with Type 1 and I am now on 4 injections a day. In the past year I have been finding it very hard and frustrating so have decided to change from my usual 5K runs to a 10K this year so I can stick 2 fingers up to this disease lol.

Too many people of all ages are dying in a diabetic coma's and end up with complications such as kidney disease, heart problems, loss of sight, amputations and nerve damage. You can reduce your risk with good control and have a normal life but for me personally its not easy!

I even work at Diabetes UK now-I just cant keep away from it!! :-)

So I will really appreciate anything you can give, no matter how small.

Thanks
