I’m sure you are all aware of the magnitude 9.0 earthquake that hit Japan and the devastating Tsunami that followed. It's heartbreaking to see all the footage and I feel very tearful to think of all the people there. It’s been a month and half since the hit but there are still lots of issues and time required to recover.

 

I was feeling the strong need to do something rather than just feeling sad about this horrific event since it happened.  Being away from the country, it makes difficult to physically help as my dad who is going to the site to help building temporary housings from next week.

 

My dad’s challenge gave me a chance to really think about it and motivated me to get into action!  After thoughts of possibilities, I decided to take up the challenge of 16miles hike along the coast line at beachy head with my friends, Richard, and Winnie to raise money for my sweet home JAPAN!
