We improve standards of education in Africa to ensure children get a quality education

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am one of only two teachers from the north of  Scotland, going with sixteen other teachers from central Scotland  as part of the Global Teachers Programme (GTP), run by international agency Link Community Development.

This summer I will be spending five weeks of my summer holiday living and working in a  Malawian village community, where there isn’t any running water or electricity. I am going to work with staff at the village school where I will be staying, helping to develop leadership, management and teaching practice in the school

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Link Community Development will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online. Your gift will help give the children of Malawi better opportunities through improved educational experiences.

Many thanks for your support.

Roger
