From September I'll be spending 12 months living in a tiny rural village in Rwanda, working at a teacher training college.

Doing VSO has been a lifetime ambition and it is my chance to use my professional skills and experience to give something back and really make a difference.

In addition to this, I hope to raise £1500 for VSO to enable them to continue to send skilled professionals to share their knowledge and expertise to change lives, bring hope and provide lasting solutions to people living in poverty and disadvantage.

The placement will be a challenge for me too! Limited access to water and electricity, learning the language, adapting to a new culture and way of life will all be part of the experience. So please sponsor me and give whatever you can to help me make a difference.
