Story

Did you know in the town of Haverhill there is not one public access defib. Haverhill Community first Responders don't just support the ambulance service with life threatening 999 calls. We also fundraise to get public access defib located in the community. If everyone in Haverhill donated 50p we could buy 5 defib's.

Defib's in the community are important as it can increase the survival rate of cardiac arrest victims. The chance of survival decreases 10% for each minute without a defibrillator.

Over the summer we will be attend various events, summer bash, car boots and street collection. Hopefully we will get the support of the community to get our first public access defib. If you can help the community first responders it would greatly appreciated.
