Haven is a charity helping the poor in India. A community centre has been built and offers a full range of medical services and education. Catherine Ready and Lucinda Brimicombe will be running in the Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running 2010, and will take part in the half marathon to help raise money on behalf of Haven. A large group of Haven volunteers will be doing a long sponsored walk in April to help raise money for the charity.

The donations will go straight towards two specific aims:

1) Helping patients of the centre with treatment from the medical camps in December 2010 (£10,000)

2) Setting a play area for the young children of the learning centre (£5,000)
