Matt and Harry's Ride, 23 February 2018
We support young people to follow their dreams and ambitions

Story

This year I was given a place on Junior Leaders, the Air Cadet's most prestigious course. One of the aspects involves raising money for charity. I have chosen to do a bike ride visiting all 23 of Plymouth and Cornwall Wing Units, covering 300 miles, in 3 days. I am donating to the John Thornton's Young Achievers Foundation. John Thornton was also a student on the Junior Leaders course but unfortunately died in Afghanistan. His parents set up this charity as it helps less fortunate, young people achieve their ambitions. I believe this charity attends important and relevant issues and so I have decided to donate to them.
