Story

Dear Friends

Due to some insane reason, we have decided to take part in Tough Mudder on Sunday, 14th September 2014.

For those of you who have not heard of this event it is a 20km military style obstacle course. Not only is the course just short of a half marathon but involves 25 obstacles ranging from ice pools to electrocution (hopefully not at the same time!)

Anyone who wants to see what we are putting ourselves through, and have a laugh at our expense, watch the following video http://toughmudder.co.uk/obstacles/course-types

The reason for our decision to run is based mainly on the charity that we are raising money for, Harry & Jock's Appeal (www.harryandjocksappeal.org). The appeal's aim is to raise funds to provide equipment for the neonatal unit and the maternity unit, and to support the services and facilities provided for bereaved parents, or parents of poorly babies and children at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester.

There are two ways to sponsor us, either go to the following website http://www.justgiving.com/harryandjocksappeal and add in your sponsorship or just pledge an amount to us. If you decide to pledge then we will collect on these once we have hopefully completed the course. Please also feel free to send us charity cheques but please ensure these are addressed to Harry & Jock's Appeal (Registered Charity No - 1114355)

Thank you in advance for your generosity and we would really appreciate your help on this one.
