We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.
Story
Andrew Jones MP is calling on local people to walk for a world without dementia as a part of Alzheimer's Society's biggest annual fundraising event. The event is being run in conjunction with Harrogate Borough Council who are committed to providing dementia-friendly training for all staff and councillors. All members of Andrew Jones MP's team are dementia-friendly trained.
It comprises two laps of a 0.8 mile route around Valley Gardens with the aim of raising as much money as possible for Alzheimer’s Society. If you are unable to take part in the walk please still donate for a good cause.
Money raised from this walk will help fund research to find a cure for dementia as well as funding services for people living with the disease.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
