Lands End to John O'Groats Cycling Challenge, 12 February 2016
We support young people to follow their dreams and ambitions

Story

My name is Harris Khawaja and I am currently a student on the Air Cadet Junior Leaders Course 17. Being a part of the course, all students are to raise money and awareness for this charity as it strongly supports the Junior Leaders Course.

Me and some students on the course will be cycling across the UK over the course of 10 days. Land's End to John O'Groats (Top of Scotland to the bottom of Cornwall). The distance we'll cover is 1000miles. We aim to do 100miles each day.

The JTYAF (John Thornton's Young Achievers Foundation) supports young people from a wide range of youth organisations, providing them with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions. Visit www.jtyaf.org for more information.

The JTYAF was set up to honour the legacy of John Thornton, ex-Air Cadet, ex-QJL (Qualified Junior Leader), ex-Royal Marine. John was tragically killed in Afghanistan at the age of 22. Throughout his career John had achieved many things such as climbing the Kilimanjaro. Johns parents Linda and Pete set up this charity to help support young people in chasing their dreams.

Please donate to a great cause.
