We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

This June I am running/jogging/wheezing my way through a 5km with Team Fiona in Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This doesn't seem like very far but for someone who deliberates running 5ft to catch a bus it will be a challenge!

This charity is one that is particularly close to my heart, like I'm sure it is for many others. I have seen the life-changing benefits it can provide to those who have been given the all-clear from cancer and to those who are still undergoing the battle.

Every single penny that I raise on this page is going to Cancer Research UK so please dig deep! Even £1 will make an overall difference and will help to save many lives in the future.

As things stand, 1 in 3 people will personally be affected by cancer at some point in their lives. And 1 in 2 of these people will survive and beat it...but how great would it be to make this statistic even better?!

Please join the fight against cancer by sponsoring Team Fiona - it's quick, easy and totally secure. By sponsoring us, we will beat cancer sooner! Thank you!!

Don't forget to add Gift Aid!

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.
