I'm running the 5K race for life in memory of my beautiful Grandma who I sadly lost 3 years ago to stomach cancer. When she was finally diagnosed with stomach cancer it was already very advanced so there wasn't a lot they could do to help. The thought of someone else having to go through this is an horrific thought so thats why I am taking part in race for life so we can hopefully put a stop to this.
