Story
Here at Halley Station in the Antarctic we can spend anywhere between a week to 32 months away from our family and friends. If anything was to happen at home we unlikely be to get out in time to be with our loved ones.We are planning a 10km fun run (walk or ski) around the perimeter of the station to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. Not only is this good for our hearts but hopefully will benefit those back home.

FRESH OFF THE PRESS!!!!
The day was cold, the weather was wild and yet many brave souls ventured out for a good cause and ran, walked, skied, spinned and hauled around 10km!!
It was a great day out and despite the biting winds and snow we managed to get a lot of folk out and smiles (as well as grimaces) were seen on most faces.
