I'm pledging to run 10 half marathons this year and raise £2000 for REFUGEE ACTION. If I don't raise the whole amount then I'll make up the shortfall from personal earnings.

As a first generation immigrant and with my own children living in another continent, I know the pain of being separated from family. But with the privileged life I believe I have,  I couldn't claim to even imagine the hardships refugees have to endure.  I have the amazing fortune of working and living amongst the most amazing people of the UK which I proudly call my home and country. 

I hope many of you, my friends, family and acquaintances will support my endeavours. After all with dodgy asian genes, being a person who used to be a sedentary chubby teenage geek and working full time across 3 hospitals, it takes a bit of doing to keep running these races month after month ;)

All of the money raised goes straight to Refugee Action with no deductions on my part for costs, travel or entry fees.
